Any time you bring together a group of people, you are bound to have differences. These can be differences in looks, preferences, cultures, religions, and yes, even political points of view. Here at HG Logistics, a third party freight broker in Cincinnati, Ohio, we usually enjoy our differences. One thing that we all have in common is that we all have an opinion.

In case you have been living under a rock for the past year, I am sure that you are well aware that the United States Presidential election is nearing. On November 8, millions of Americans will cast their votes for President,  issues, and down-ballot races nationwide. In many areas, voters have already made their picks using early and/or absentee voting.  This is a part of the American way of life. Having a say in our government and its officials is one thing that sets the US apart from other countries.

While moving freight is our top priority every single day of the year, we want to take a moment to encourage every single eligible individual to take advantage of his or her democratic rights and vote! Voting is an important part of how and why our nation is as wonderful as it is. Selecting the best individuals to guide our cities, states and country is key in every part of daily lives.

Many people may not think that voting is a big deal, but it is important to realize that those elected officials are the very ones who may be making choices that will directly impact our lives. Looking at our own business, the government makes infrastructure, traffic, and driving laws that directly link to how we ship, where we go and who is driving our trucks. It is important to HG Logistics that all of our business partners, friends and families go out, get educated and take part in this election.

You don’t have to tell us who you voted for, but please let us know that you voted!
