I know that I have mentioned it many times, but here it is again: HG Logistics LLC is based in Cincinnati, and if there is one thing that we can’t deny, it is that we are Cincinnati proud. This weekend, we will have one extra day to spend time with out families and loved ones to reflect upon our military and their families in appreciation. Alongside a celebration of our troops, we are able to celebrate the freedoms that they have afforded us. Today, I am discussing a few of the places that you may just find an HG Logistics employee around Cincinnati this weekend.

The big one….every year on Memorial Day weekend, portions of downtown Cincinnati are blocked off to celebrate Taste of Cincinnati, a culinary tour of the city, all in one spot. This will be the 39th annual celebration and there is always more in store each year. This year will feature the usually food truck row, veggie races and five stages of music and entertainment! Special events are also taking place at museums around the city, including Art After Dark, a special series at the Cincinnati Art Museum and a Star Wars costume theme exhibit at the Cincinnati Museum Center.

If you are looking for something to do with your over-21 friends, this weekend will be the grand opening of Braxton Brewing Co.’s second location, Braxton Labs, inside the Party Source. Other openings this weekend include Coney Island’s opening day as well as the opening of Splash City, the waterpark inside King’s Island.
